More about taking over a build

How much does a Shopify store cost with us?

$1,250 (USD) for a Shopify store: a theme set up around your products, colours and logo, or designed from scratch if the brief needs it, with up to 50 products loaded and payments, shipping and tax set up. It’s typically live in 2 weeks.

The Shopify subscription and any apps are paid by you to Shopify, not to us. Every app is named, with its monthly cost, before it’s installed.

Why are the prices in US dollars in the UK and Canada?

Centangle Global is a US company, and one price in one currency means a service costs the same wherever you are. The figures on this page are the prices in the United Kingdom and Canada too.

How are extras priced?

Anything outside the printed scope is quoted separately, in writing, and you decide before we build it. Nothing is added to an invoice without your agreement first.

Bigger than these? Membership sites, catalogues above the ceilings, custom features, anything with customer logins: quoted after the call, in writing, with its own list of what’s not included.

How do you get to a fixed price?

  1. 01

    A 20-minute call

What you sell, what you have now, what it needs to do. If a package fits, we say which. If nothing does, we say that too.

  2. 02

    The scope, in writing

What’s included, what isn’t, the price, the dates, and what we need from you and by when. Nothing starts until you’ve agreed it.

  3. 03

    Half to start

The first half is paid when you’ve agreed the scope.

  4. 04

    The work

The design is approved before anyone writes code, and you get a written note at the end of every week.

  5. 05

    Half at launch

The second half is paid at launch, on a dated day.

What do you pay us, and what do you pay others?

Paid to us

  • The fixed price for the service, in two halves
  • Anything extra you’ve agreed to, quoted in writing first
  • A fix after the thirty days, at a fixed price agreed before anything is done

Paid by you to others

  • The Shopify subscription, paid by you to Shopify
  • Hosting, paid by you to the host
  • Domain renewal
  • App subscriptions and paid plugin or theme licences, each named and priced before you agree to any

The running costs are yours and paid directly by you, so nothing sits in our name.

What else do people ask?

Is the price actually fixed?

Yes, for the scope printed on the page. If you ask for something outside it, we quote that separately and you decide before we build it. Nothing is added to an invoice without your agreement first.

What do I pay upfront?

Half. The rest at launch. If you’ve been burned before, that’s the point of the split.

Do UK and Canadian clients pay in US dollars?

Yes. Every price on this page is in US dollars, and it’s the same figure in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Is there a monthly fee or a retainer?

No. There’s no retainer and nothing you have to keep paying us. Your platform, hosting, domain and any apps are paid by you directly, so nothing sits in our name.

What does a fix cost after the thirty days?

Email us. You get a fixed price for the fix, in writing, before anything is done.

Can you just look at my existing site?

Yes. A paid diagnostic call, and the fee comes off a larger project if you go ahead.

Want to talk it through?

Book a 20-minute call: what you sell, what you have now, and what it needs to do. You’ll leave knowing which service fits, what it costs, what it doesn’t include, and when it could be live. If nothing fits, we’ll say so.
